I m making a dinning room table (30 inches) and want to add drawers in the skirt. Can anyone tell me the average height from the floor to the bottom of the skirt? I am trying to figure out the widest skirt I can make and still give me good leg room. Thanks

25 to the skirt and 31.5 to the top for mine.

I usually try to consider the size of the people that the table is for and also the size of the chairs that are going to be used.
I normally make them 30” high, but sometimes no more than 31”. I prefer a min. of 25” to the bottom. I think 25” is still kind of tight so for bigger chairs and/or people I prefer to leave 26”.
