Hi all,

Was looking for a recommendation for a quality wood vise that I could mount to my workbench. I would like a quick release, at least a 10” width, and one where a wooden surface could be mounted to the vise faces in the $100 to $200 dollar range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Any vises in that price range would be good.

Well, I saw that some companies offer metal vises and some offer essentially the skeleton of a vise which you would then add wood to the faces of the vise. Which one would be better? Any name brand recommendations?
