Hi,

Why maybe? Because I’m not sure if I have the right part. I’ve got some Accuride 3832SC side mount sliders; or at least that’s what the packing slip and the individual packages – and instruction sheets say – but something isn’t adding up.

The instructions say the front mounting screw goes through a small cap for micro adjustments. But the instructions don’t seem to match the part Iv’e got. Maybe they’ve upgraded the hardware, but not the instructions. This probably doesn’t matter. That is, if I’m installing things precisely enough – and I think I will be since I’m using this Rockler slide mount install jig that lines things up really nicely – I shouldn’t need the adjuster. But… before I start screwing in 7 slides, I thought I’d check here.

I kind of just want to slap them in with the mounting holes and be done with it, but this tiny little thing is just bugging me a bit.

Here’s some pics to show what I’m talking about. In both pics, the drawer attachment is removed.

Anyone have any clues?

With sliding part closed:

With sliding part extended:

See what I mean? I don’t see the cam adjuster.

Thanks,
Scott

No need for the cam adjuster, just install them as they are. I usually use a front and a back hole until I get all the drawers in and then if I have to adjust them I have plenty of holes to use. After I get them adjusted I put the final screws in.

The CAM adjuster is on the other part of the slide, that mounts to the drawer box.

“The CAM adjuster is on the other part of the slide, that mounts to the drawer box.”

Alright.. so I know I can be kind of stoopid sometimes. This kind of removes any lingering doubt!

When I get home and see this, I’ll probably want to delete this whole thread out of sheer embarrassment. But I’ll leave my post up as an object warning to others to look at everything!

Thanks for clearing this up.
