I recently moved to the Tampa Bay area, we’re a half hour from Tampa and an hour from Orlando. I’m looking for a place to buy hardwoods, mainly poplar. I make small wooden toys, so where I used to live I was able to buy off-cuts at a lumberyard. For example poplar (or maple or beech) in about 5” x 3/4” by a few feet long, for some of the things I make. Anyone have any ideas of places around here?

Woodfinder is a good friend of mine. You should introduce yourself at woodfinder.com. Other than that, I am of no help.

Thanks! I looked up that website and contacted a business, waiting to hear back if they have what I want!
