Are you familiar with this product?

Could this be the same as Heat treated wood?

Thanks for sharing the video. This may be (assuming their claims are accurate) a good thing for the manufactured door, window, etc. industry. Somehow I don’t see it replacing the fine hardwoods used in fine woodworking. (I wish there was a way to turn cheep scruffy looking fir into beautiful walnut or exotics – any alchemists out there?)
