I’m going to start selling picture frames (along with other projects) at a craft fair in August. I can’t figure out how to display the frames. I have limited space, so that has to be a consideration. I would like to make it out of wood. Any ideas?

One of the problems I can see would be that empty frames really do not draw the eyes to them unless there are pictures in them even though they are pieces of art in themselves.

Also, many people also look for fames of a specific size to fit something they already have.

Never-the-less, they should be displayed on some sort of wall which can be used to display them and the only type I can think of is like those used in a shop like the below which is easily adjustable for sizes and removal.

Good luck with your show.

Thanks pjones,. I only make standard size frames to sell, 5×7, 8×10, 11×14. I make custom size frames when commissioned and I like to see the piece to match the wood/design to it first.

I considered your idea. I’m leaning towards a 3 sided tower made of wire shelving. Saw the idea on Pinterest. It’s compact and portable.
