Can I use oil base polyurethane over this alcohol base die ????

Yes you can. The alcohol will evaporate quickly. I would let it sit for a few hours after dying and then begom tp coat with the poly. This is very similar to putting poly over shellac, which a lot of us do as a routine part of our finishing operations.

One of the modern methods of mimmicking antiquities is to first use an alcohol based dye and go over it with grain filler followed by an oil based stain and finished with lacquer, shellac or poly. Just be sure each is very dry first.
