You know how when you open the LJs homepage, there’s a box just below the header that says “We love to work the wood” ? It highlights a random page from one of the LJ’ers and usually it changes to someone new every time you open the homepage.

Well the other day I woke up early and couldn’t get back to sleep. So I stumbled to my computer and opened LJs. I take a glance at the LJ’ers page and my immediate reaction was ”Hey! That looks exactly like MY project!”
.
Yeah… took me a few seconds to realize I was looking at MY OWN page in the highlights box. As Homer Simpson would say “DOH!

Nope. I always open the homepage first. I always see something new and get a LOT of great ideas from the other LJs pages.

Go I have my computer set up so it always opens up at Stumpys every time.

All I do is paste this http://lumberjocks.com/topics/61919 click on Internet Options and Open General and put it in home page area and it always opens up there.

Hey, at least you had your 15 minutes of fame. I look at it most of the time, but if I really busy I may miss it.

Hi Joe: I’ve finally gotten around to playing catch-up back to when you were setting up your new workshop … which looks awesome, by the way!
And then to view the plethora of beautifully turned bowls! You started off with talent, but as I made my way through your many projects I could actually see how you gained confidence to challenge yourself to the max … with truly inspiring and artistic turnings. Well done!! I shall continue to enjoy your journey.
Congrats on your “highlight” too!

Thanks Elaine! Funny but I was perusing YOUR homepage just the other day. Was wondering when you’re gonna do another of those beautiful marquetry wine boxes. That was fun to follow along on …

Thanks back at ya Joe!
I haven’t any woodworking projects on the Homefront right now. Life seems to keep getting in the way! And it’ll be a while before my little workshop in Blythe is all set up. BUT when it is, I hope to be knee-deep into Intarsia! I’ll keep you posted!!
