Has anyone had any experiences with this drum sander from Grizzly. I’m considering getting one.
Need to know how easy it is to find replacement rollers and what the average cost of them would be.
TIA

The sand paper is wrapped around the drum so you do not need to replace any rollers, just cut new paper from a 3” wide roll. I have heard some bad things about this sander and the shop fox the same size. I debated getting it when I was looking for a drum sander. Just bit the bullet and got the z series 24” and love it. I have had it for a year now and the only way I will get rid of it is if the shop burns down with it in it.

The 12 inch baby sander was tops on my list, until I read all the reviews about the feed motor/gear shaft being crap.

I opted for the JET 16-32 Plus, that I got a reasonable deal 15% discount and free shipping. back in January.

Hadn’t considered the G0716

Was/am not sure how rigid the open sided sander will ultimately be compared to closed, but felt like as soon as I got a 12 inch sander I would need to put a 14 inch wide cabinet door through it :-)
