Go on the Steel City website and call the customer service number. That number is supposed to have been transferred to the company that will be handling parts.

I’ve heard rumor that General International will be taking on parts for the Steel City stuff. It makes sense since Scott Box, one of the original founders of SC, now works for GI.

There’s a guy on here who says he’s a former employee of Steel City and said some machines will be sold under the Cutech badge.

Looking up the name, on trademearks.justia.com it looks like they just applied recently for a trademark to be able to use the name for woodworking machinery.
The person named, is located in California and the attorney filing is out of Virginia.

I think that turned out to be just that, a rumor, from what I understand Nordis is who bought the parts stock and GI became the rumor since the company that bought the parts was identified as Canadian in the press and people assumed it to be GI which is rather logical especially with the Box connection.

I would like to thank everyone for the information it was greatly appreciated. I called up General International and they weren’t able to help so they told me to go to the General Machinery website. I called the contact number at General Machinery and also didn’t have the Steel City Parts so they referred me to the Hardware Tools webpage that I am currently waiting for a response as they only had me send an e-mail. There was no contact number to call. Thank you again to everyone for your help.

Did you try Nordis? Another possible lead would be Woodwerks in Ohio, they sell/sold Steel City. Todd Damon of Woodwerks partnered with Campagna and Chang to create the Axiom tool group which was made up of Steel City and Axiom Precision. If you can’t get answers from Nordis or Woodwerks you could try Axiom Precision, the latter won’t have the parts but they may have someone that can clarify the situation.

If you call the SC phone number, you should get Nordis. Ask for Terry. They got all the parts.

As mentioned, Todd at Woodwerks may be able to help you get in touch with them.

As to Cutech, they’re selling portable planers and parts direct as of today and “might” be selling a TS saw and parts in the near future. The original factory that produced most of SC’s machines (including later model TS’s)was sold and is communicating with Cutech.
