Topic tags/keywords: search

I often use the search button to find that most of the results are in the store. Usually I’m looking for forum topics that discuss something like featherboards or router tables. Any chance you could implement some way of letting the user choose what types of results they want back? For example, I would like to search for “featherboard” in the forums and in blogs, but not projects or the store.

using the TAGS is a good option—but people need to be tagging the discussions with the keywords.

I think the current “Search” is just through Google so options are limited to the web/the site. .

I wonder if you searched for “featherboard, topic” you’d get the forum discussions first.

Perhaps Martin could just filter the results he gets back from Amazon. All of the forums results will look like or For projects, they all look like

I love the tags. I try to put at least one good tag on everything I submit. Sadly, not all of the postings have them.

That would be great. The search feature is not very helpful now due to the store crowding it.

As Debbie said the search is right now implemented through Google AdSense and the features are limited. I will do some research about this. thanks.
