Topic tags/keywords: humor, not before or during the woodworking, but after.

We are more than 2 weeks into a nightmare of a heatwave here in North Carolina (and surrounding areas).

Lately, I’m finding that even after just 2 hours in the shop, early in the morning “before it gets hot”, when I come inside it is really hard for me to get my t-shirt off because it is completely soaked.

I think I’m ready for winter.

-- Last week I finally got my $*i# together. Unfortunately, it was in my shop, so I will probably never find it again.

I just made it back to Winston Salem from Gulfport Ms. Though I am ready from winter this is real nice compared to the Hot swamp I vacationed in.

Glad I moved here.

You’re preachin to the choir Jeff. It’s been near (or above) 100 every day last week, and this week looks like more of the same here in GA.

Same problem in eastern Missouri. For me it seems to get worse each year.

While people complain about winter in NH, you can dress for it, and the summers are cool at night and not too hot in the daytime. Moved from Virginia in large part due to climate. Other pluses are scenery and solitude.

When you come out of the shop for a suddenly necessary run to town and you have to look decent
because the beautiful lady said so, it is hard to get the soaked shirt off, but it is harder to get the
replacement shirt on because it sticks to your back and you can not reach it to pull it down. Oh well
no one said life was going to be easy. It is just getting warm here in Missoula, but have had to turn on
the AC a few times to get it cool enough to sleep in the house.
