Got an Emmert’s No. 2 Small Patternmakers vice for sale.

It is missing the bench bracket assembly, which according to the Iron Hand site is parts K44 and K6 (or K64). Also, the rear jaw dog is missing, which is part K20, I believe. Everything else is according to what you see in the photos. Sorry, no tilting jaw insert. Brushed it off a little bit, I see no welds or cracks and the small bit of surface rust should clean up.

The price is $425.00 plus shipping from zip code 43031. Shipping will be by UPS ground insured. Figure on about 65lbs shipping weight, which includes a custom built shipping box. Handle is included.

I Inherited about 20 of these from my family when my father died .I sold them to a guy from Texas he came all the way to Scotland with his girlfriend and spent a week building a large crate in my shop and packed them all (seperated) into it and arranged to have it shipped back before leaving he reckoned he’d make a lot of profit from them I sold them all for $250 each and he sold some for $1200 dolars good luck to him I am glad he done well.Alistair

Hi Ethan,

I’m not a metalworker, but as far as I can tell, I see no repairs to the vise. Everything looks clean, except for a slight amount of surface rust in a few small pathes here and there as you can tell in the photos. Just a reminder that it is missing the rear dog, and the bench bracket clamp.

Let me check on rates tomorrow and see what the rates are to BC and compare that to Nothern Washington. Typically, I’d accept money orders or a check (US $ please), although I could only ship after I knew the check cleared which might delay getting the vise sent out. You know how long banks take sometimes.

I’ll send you a private message tomorrow and we’ll figure out the best way.

hey dave thanks again for the reply! if sent to washington, it would go to colville. i can’t justify sending ups to canada because they charge a very hefty sum for dealing with customs. purolator or fed ex would be better to come right to canada. i’m very interested in the vise but we would have to figure out how to pay with a money order that would be held by the bank or something like that. i’m very gunshy with money orders as i was taken for 300 bucks just a few months ago on a similar moneyorder transaction on a type 1 turtleback which i never recieved. very sad! anyhow i’m sure we can figure it out dave thanks again ethan
