Topic tags/keywords: question

Lets make it a thing. I’m talking about a Michigan picnic in October. Rustic Rick started it and it was decided Lansing was probable central to everyone. Lets not make this a two person get together like the last one. Theres a lot of us from Michigan on here. Let get together and meet and make friends. I always thought Michigan people were a pretty friendly bunch. If Lansing don’t float your boat, then where do you want it? Come on lets talk. mike PS…PLEASE BY ALL MEANS, FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR SPOUSE. I’M BRINGING MY OLD BALL AND CHAIN AND IF ANY OF YOU TELL HER I SAID THAT I’LL SWAT YOU WITH A 4X4. LOL MIKE

Come on you guys Lansing ain’t that far. I’ll even make you a sandwich. By the way, I’ll check with that sawyer in Bath, Mich. He’s not far off a highway and Lansing, maybe he would let us meet there. We may have to bring our own grill, but thats no big deal. Hope it don’t rain. What say you Rick. This guys business is only about 5 miles north of Lansing and probably 2 miles off the highway.

My Dad came from Michigan, & I grew up on Michigan St.

Too bad it’s so darn far.

I highly recommend you Michiganders to go to Mike’s LJ Party.

I think he’ll put on a great shindig.

Come on up Grizz, red dress or no. Heck I wouldn’t care. Your not so apt to get shot wearing red. Yea Dick, it would be heaven to see you or Karson show up. We’ll be lucky to get many Michigander’s to show the way it looks, and I know there’s a lot of them on here. I know a lot live up north. But like I said we can have it anywhere I don’t care.

It’s only 676.2 miles to Lansing, Mi from my place, or should I say from my place to Lansing, MI. But then I’d have to come back home also.

I know Karson. If I had the bucks I’d fly you here. I just was going through the lumberjocks and got to page 30 of the new jocks. I found 10 in those 30 pages from MI. 4 of them from Grand Rapids, not counting Rick. If they are proud enough to put their home state why don’t they want to meet others from here? I just don’t get it.

Mike: I wish I knew why more people don’t want to get involved in more activities. We have workshops in our woodworking club and you have the same people for each of them (And many of them don’t need the training, they are there for the fellowship)

I hope that you have a great turnout.
