Will a biesmyer fence fit and old Craftsman 137 series saw? I ,so far, have not found the answer on line so I was hoping one of my fellow woodworker could help me … Thanks—-

the answer is yes and no, Im speaking a lot from the past, biesmyer used to send a template along with a new fence to show ya where ya had to drill for craftsman or other saws that were not drilled to mount them, of course delta and other were drilled, Ive never had to drill to mount a biesmyer myself but have seen saws where others did. shouldnt be to hard but then Im not doing it. good luck

Yeah, I think you are both right! If I found a used fence somewhere I would consider if I thought it would fit but this fence slides in a groove on the back of the saw where I think others have a round type rail. I do have a Grizzley 190 or equivalent on my wish list.

I TELL PEOPLE A LOT, A SO-SO SAW WITH A GOOD FENCE IS BETTER THAN A GOOD SAW WITH A SO-SO FENCE BUT i DONT SAY SO-SO
