I’m testing a new format for digital publishing, that produces a “browser-friendly” version of my SketchUp books. You can help by reading a free sample chapter from the “New Woodworker’s Guide to SketchUp” and giving me your feedback.

+1 to what knockknock said.

Not everyone has a high resolution screen and good eyesight. Many of us are working on low resolution screens and have a hard time viewing the content. Additionally you continued to ignore the concept of multiple columns which constantly results in scrolling up and down.

Try limiting your screen to only show 1/3 of the page and try reading many pages. Scroll up and down only with a touch pad – no mouse.

Change the format to be more like a single column book.

On a positive note thanks for sharing the chapter.

Looks fine on my ipad 4. The only issue was it jumps to the left on pages with a video before jumping to the centre. The videos played well. I tried in Mercury and Safari, same effect. My wife uses Indesign and said it looks like it is trying to display the video while doing the page flip.
