I am begining a woodshop class for adults in a few weeks and I will be bringing my dovetail Dozuki with me. I am wondering if anyone has tips or ideas as to how to transport the saw. I will be riding my bicycle to the class so something solid would be a start. I was thinking about two seperate pieces of wood with a routed out area the size of the saw then glued/joined together but I would still have the fragile area where the blade meets the handle to worry about.
Any suggestions would be more then welcome!!!

How about a violin case? Or Viola?

Accordion cases might be easy to find.

Seriously some foam with suede cloth on top would hold the blade and the suede cloth might not get snagged on the blade teeth.
