You know what’s probably the most frustrating experience ever? Trying to re – assemble a 1970s Powermatic 50 that you cleaned and painted over a year ago but never got around to finishing. To make matters worse my garage flooded last summer and all the hardware re-rusted. So today I’ve spent close to 8 hrs taking a wire wheel to the hardware and assembling half of the machine.

That’s not mentioning the hardest part, trying to hold the 100lb table wings in place while putting the control arms back together by yourself. I know this is all my own fault for not having a buddy help and re assembling it last year but I felt the need to vent

Hang in there bud, it could get worse. It could start raining.

Yeah that is true lmao. Last night I found a better version of the manual on OWWM that suggested flipping the unit over on a bench. Then attaching it to the base after the tables and control arms are assembled. I think this should simplify things a lil bit.

Frustrating;
1 Russian wife and mom to 3 Russian daughters, 2 American daughters, 1 boxer dog, i blue tick hound dog, 1 cat named useless, and my wife’s pet rooster named barnyard all living under one roof except the rooster, and in several languages none of them can agree on the same thing at the same time.

When I carry them out to eat I always ask their mom where she would like to eat not in the girls presence. When we get there if any of them start yakking about I tell them this is where your mom want to eat…I hear five ok’s and no problem.

Need some help tonight with that saw? lol

Bruce: you need to stay away from firearms, sharp objects, items that cause blunt force trauma and all other forms of implements of destruction, lest the temptation to use such items on them, and/or yourself becomes too great :-) You definitely, IMHO win the frustrating contest. Everybody else’s frustration here will end eventually, but yours is like Groundhog Day… happening over and over and over again. You sir, are a better man than I.
