I would say what country they most likely came from but have no desire to offend anyone. I’ve seen stranger things than this there.

I would bet the top pic is a paint job, not real wood.

That’s amazing. Jim. I’d love to see that car in person. Bruce, I’m assuming that first car is done with photographics software. However, I like the picture.

The larger version of the picture shows it to be skinned with real boards. Considering where it came from I can believe it. I’ve seen some amazing things there when my wife and I would be there visiting her family and friends.

Before the plane lands she has this thing about telling me to be a good boy and keep my mouth shut unless spoken to by a family member and then she’ll answer for me. Once we we get back into international airspace on our way back to the states it’s ok for me to talk again. lol

It’s amazing to me the amount of imagination I’ve seen in people over there. A lot of it though is they have no money and have to make the best of what they have as far as resources and I’ll certainly give them credit for that.

I’d say Russia. That’s where my wife is from but some of the FSU countries are no different.
In all the 17 years I’ve been going to Russia I’ve met only one not so good a person and that was on the train returning from my wife’s city back to Moscow. She ended his bs towards me with just a few words and a tone of voice I’m glad I didn’t understand. He left and we never saw him again.

Every Russian person I’ve met in Russia, except him, are some of the finest people I’ve ever met in my life and will treat you like a family member and help you if given the chance

Up until a few years ago when we relocated my wife’s parents here, our kids both Russian and American would go to Russia and spend two weeks with their grand parents and we never worried about them. They treat their two American grand daughters as just their grand daughters and introduce them in Russia as their grand daughters and have never used Russian or American grand daughters in conversations. They’re two awesome people.
