I’m going back home right now. South Mississippi. Currently I’m traveling down I-65 in nowhere Alabama. By looking around I am reminded why I love North Carolina so much: no freaking pine trees. I hate pine wood, needles, cones, sap, bark and the overwhelming gloomness of the pine trees. If the grim reaper were asked by a shrink what kind of tree he saw himself as it would be a SYP. I can’t express how much I hate pine. Rumor has it that the fires of hell are powered by…you guessed it, pine.

I digress

I have never worked with SYP so I can’t say as a woodworker. But growing up in the north I do enjoy seeing evergreens in the middle of winter. Something about the green partially covered by snow.

No, bro. After 10 hrs of driving I asked the senorita to spell me for the last hr or so.

After 30 years in ms I can’t stand them in any season. The last 8 in NC have been blissful.
