I’ve got one too many planers. A few weeks ago i was changing the brushes in my Delta 13” planer when I lost the button screws that hold the brushes in. So rather than wait for more button screws to ship in I went out and bought a Steel City helical head planer. I could kick myself for being so impulsive, but there you are. And now I’ve got a planer gathering dust. Its got a new set of brushes and two sets of knives and until I lost the two screws (they cost about $3 to replace) it worked fine. Anybody interested? What ya got to trade? I should add that on straight grained wood where tear out isn’t usual, this planer does a better job than the helical head.

Did you find a trade for this? or did the screws arrive and you now have two working planers?

If you still have that planer and want a $100 I would be interested. I’m guessing you live in NJ.

And you’d be correct, MRG. Clinton, NJ. IF you’re really interested drop me an email and we’ll arrange a time for you to see it.
