Just bought a small laser engraver. I have both Moshidraw and Coreldraw available. Any preferences?

Our daughter-in-laws dad uses Coreldraw for his trophy and awards business. He can read my old auto-cad drawings also.

I have used Corel Draw with a decent amount of success, but I think it depends on the compatibility with your Laser. Also, I have a separate program for engraving picture (.jpeg) files.

Another point of concern is having the proper color palettes installed. With my setup, for example, I need to use CMYK color palette instead of RGB. Red signifies a cut, Blue signified a “kiss cut”, and black signifies engraving. for whatever reason, the Engraver will not recognize those colors on the wrong pallete.

Can’t wait to see how beetle kill pine shows an engraving!

Hope that helps- good luck!
