One night a wife saw her husband standing over the baby’s crib.

She stood watching him silently, he looked down with mixed emotions, disbelief, doubt, delight, amazement, enchantment, and skepticism.

She slipped her arm around him, “Penny for your thoughts?” she whispered.

“It’s amazing, how can they make a crib like that for $49.99?”

LOL, I would have thought the same thing. You can’t even buy the materials for that.

Ikea makes a rugged little childs table with two chairs for 39 bucks. Strongly put together and the white wood is solid. It comes with a thin coat of clear finish and neat looking shiny metal fasteners. Comes in a cardboard box. Fit together great ! my wife put a vinyl cabinet paper on the top and it works great for our grandson. really good deal. a walnut or mahogany one would be better, but cost a bit to make.

You cant fight Ikea on price!

I quoted a job not long ago and the customer threw Ikea back at me, they had a pic and all. I told them yiu are getting a hand crafted high quality piece made in the USA. Their answer was “Do you see any quality issues in this picture, and I am sure someoned hands helped to make this piece”. As for the USA they said “Yes, I would like it to be made in the USA but for the difference in the price I will get over it”

I wrote the number of Ikea on my quote (got if from my blackberry) and told them to have a good day and to call me WHEN their quality piece starts to fall apart.
