Topic tags/keywords: dp220 head chuck drill press

Just acquired a 14” Delta/Rockwell drill press with a DP220 head. Mussing is the chuck. It looks like a 2JT taper, but I can’t find anything in the ether to confirm it. Can anyone help? Appreciate it.

If its not a Jacobs taper its a MT1 spindle for the DP220’s

Check a parts list, which you should be able to find here:

I was searching for a chuck key for my drill press there the other day (different model) and I remember noticing it listed this information in the parts diagram/table

and FYI: That site doesn’t work in Firefox. Use Internet Explorer.
