Topic tags/keywords: drop leaf table

Due to Family additions, I need to make a few projects that are too long in the queue disappear.
This table is missing both leaves and has a crack through the original large top piece. Someone has poorly glued it. It will need to be heated and the old glue worked out so it can be glued and clamped properly. Also one of the legs has been cut slightly short… you’d need to detach it, bore it, then turn it to match the others. It is missing the drawer as well. I was told by the vendor that they sold the leaves off the table to a woodworker who wanted the raw stock.

I’m looking for a reasonable offer and someone who can pick it up in the Hudson valley/newburgh area. I can try and work out delivery with you too.
The one Caveat: In trade off for a reasonable price, i’d really like to see evidence of restoration projects in your list.

It looks like a great restoration project. I hope that you will post it after you finish it.

Charles, it looks like the OP is looking for somebody to do the restoration…

I wish you were closer, I’d love to tackle it. (evidence in my projects library, too)

Unfortunately your location is a bit out of my delivery range. Which is a shame because with your project list, I imagine you would have given it a good home.

Have your say...
