I am looking at buying one of these used This one does have the sand smart and looks to be in good shape.

My question is if there are parts available for this machine if I need them in the future.
This one was built before Jet bought out Performax, so I am thinking it’s about 6-8 years old.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a 22-44 bought in 07, pretty sure a Jet product by then. The manual is dated at 4/03, still a WMH tool group product that also included Jet. Many BF through it over the last 8 yrs. What’s sand smart? If you never ran a drum sander before be aware, check the wraps regular, they stretch when they heat up, you don’t want an overlap, burns the wood and wrap

sand smart adjusts the feed speed if you start to take too deep of a cut.

You might want to give a call to supermax, they were the guys that took over some of the performax line when jet bought it.

OK got that, never knew that’s what they called it.
Never took too deep a cut, gauge marking too conspicuous
