First I experimented with 8mm (5/16”) MDF and then, with 4mm (5/32”) solid wood.

This is what I use and it seems satisfactory

That’s very good idea and I think that I’ll copy it for the “Big guys”.

The boards in the pics are too small for such a “Jumbo” cawls.. :-)

They are froma piece fo scrap cut from a pallet to show how the cauls work Nicki.
I made this set for cupboard doors.
You can make a set any size and just a few minutes.
They store nicely on a wall hook.
