Ok guys, and gals, here are some new pics. Put faceframes on the mitre table, casters, and oh yeah, got me a new toy! Its a 3 hp Craftsman. Cast table with the craftsman micro adjust fence. Cant wait to play with it! Guess I’m done for now. Time to go back to work for the weekend! Gotta make some more play money.

Nice! Are you going to put shelves in the miter station or in close it at all, to keep saw dust out?

Saw your blog. I’ve had the craftsman saw for a LONG time. I have to double and triple check my fence for accuracy. Built some ferral cat houses with it a few winters ago. Couldn’t figure out why I was 1/4 inchoff when putting all the sides together. good thing the cats aren’t critical LOL.

The 3 hp motor? 1.5 hp. Thought it was 3 hp when I bought it. Ebay has parts. There is actually a belt you can buy from Harbor Frieght to reduce vibration on this saw.

It also requires patience and attention to sharp saw blades or you may experience a significant slowing when cutting.

I’m still in process of putting equipment together for my shop that has become a storage place for too much extra building materials.

Good luck on your journey!

Oh yeah, clean and lubricate. Especially if you have high humidity. “wax on, wax off”
