Alright guys. Been dabbling in some “wood widdling” as my wife would put it. I have done many DIY projects with limited resources. I’m finally ready to get my act together and put my workshop into action. I will be gutting my garage and starting from scratch so be patient with me. It is 20×20 in size and I will post pics as my progress, and pocket book allow. Keep in touch. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. More posts to follow.

So here is what I have to work with. I will be gutting the garage, and running 110 throughout. Then, the sky’s the limit!!!

You are going to keep that cool pink scooter, right??!!
My garage looks similar….when I clear out ll the kid’s stuff I could have enough room for a workshop in the 18×15 space I have.
Keep taking lots of pictures please

Good luck with the renovations – I’m doing the same thing in my garage and there’s only one thing I’m still trying to figure out: Every time I clean up and organize to make more room for my shop, my wife sees an opportunity to get more stuff out of the house and into the garage :) If you crack that one, let me know. Keep us posted with lots of pictures, too.

nice; it is a special moment in every woodworker’s life when his/her wife/husband finally gives them the garage to do whatever they want with it.

Started on my miter table. Gonna use the Kreg system on the table. Just have the top and frame right now. Gonna skin it, put a face frame and doors to hide some junk. Think I will have room to the left of the table for my drill press. Updates to come!

Good start; is the speed bag an integral part of the mitre station?

HAha, sure is. When I get ticked off at a bad cut, I can take my aggression out on the bag.

nice, I should add one to my shop, might save a few projects from getting thrown across the shop after a bad cut…
