« Part 3: Panels complete Part 4 of Sycamore Dresser series Part 5: Dovetails Done, Ready To Sand & Finish »

I assembled the carcase and built the top. Everything went well. I used red oak on all of the non visible parts of the dresser.

Now it is time to start the drawers. I am using red oak for the sides and backs of the drawers and sycamore for the drawer fronts.

I am planning to try dovetails for the first time.

Thanks for looking. I will post my next update after I build the drawers and have hopefully figured out how to make dovetails. Have a great week.

I second that very cool, I’m sure the drawers will be great too.
