Sycamore Dresser #6: Quarter Sawn Sycamore Dresser Complete.
I want to thank all of you that have read my blog and encouraged me along the way. You provided some valuable advice. I have acquired some new skills and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The dresser is made from quarter-sawn sycamore on the exterior and red oak on the non visible pieces. It is solid wood construction except for the plywood back and plywood drawer bottoms. I dovetailed the drawers and used wooden drawer slides from Rockler. To finish it, I used a coat of Transtint amber dye, followed by a coat of Transtint maple dye.
