To be up front i didn’t really know where to post this being fairly new so if its in the wrong place i tried i get a lot of my material from construction sites ,cull lumber,dumpster diving people trow away a lot of stuff that i salvage and use being new i don’t want to spend a lot on the better material least ways not until i get a good grip on what i’m takes time to .thanks to ualll for the education and sharing on this site.some times the boards aren’t straight but i found a jig i use to do this it works. i don’t have a good video r the gift of gab to explane it but though i would post the site where i found this on the web!
he did a good job of how to use it than i could

Fellow dumpster diver here. Can’t stand seeing good wood thrown away or used for fires.
That’s a great method to straighten boards. An ex member here, Niki, used something similar.
You should check out his posts. Full of great ideas for those without all the right tools.

Unfortunately a lot of his pictures were lost due to some problem with his photobucket account.
