To be up front i didn’t really know where to post this being fairly new so if its in the wrong place i tried i get a lot of my material from construction sites ,cull lumber,dumpster diving people trow away a lot of stuff that i salvage and use being new i don’t want to spend a lot on the better material least ways not until i get a good grip on what i’m doing.it takes time to .thanks to ualll for the education and sharing on this site.some times the boards aren’t straight but i found a jig i use to do this it works. i don’t have a good video r the gift of gab to explane it but though i would post the site where i found this on the web

Fellow dumpster diver here. Can’t stand seeing good wood thrown away or used for fires.
That’s a great method to straighten boards. An ex member here, Niki, used something similar.
You should check out his posts. Full of great ideas for those without all the right tools.
