Have you tried hand planes for that trimming work before or do you think they are too slow for production work?

Okie dokie, I haven’t used pins on dovetails but have used them on finger joints before.
I love your Mike Shea plane, very jealous!

I totally agree with you about the trim routers, have the same issue myself, especially in pine.

The sanding may be boring but it’s that extra attention to detail, that you do that sets your work apart from the average guy. Well done sir.

I agree with your philosophy about your work bench, I believe that they are tools and should be used as such. I am envious of the amount of space you have to work in, congrats.

Todd,
This is really a great looking bench, love it!
Do you have a spraying room or do you spray in your shop?
Thanks for taking the time to show us your world

sounds like a good idea.
I just bought a Rigid 3660 and cemented in some of the middle of my garage floor to be able to use the mobile base on it.

It sounds like you have a bunch of projects coming up, good for you. As a pro, how much have you felt the impact of the bad economy?

I know what you mean Todd. I actually enjoy the designing part. And I am learning more and more in the furniture business to NOT sell myself cheap….Just as I do not sell my self cheap in the remodel business.
