I rarely get time to participate in the movements of the woodworking community at large, as everything seems to hit right at the worst moments with my business schedule.

But this year, for Get Woodworking Week I was able to crank out a video to share some thoughts on getting into the shop and starting your woodworking journey.

Check it out HERE.

I hope you enjoy!

Griz – Believe it or not, I did that all in one take and I didn’t say crap once!

DIYaholic – Thanks man! I hoped that sharing the road bumps in my own woodworking journey would encourage others to not worry about it and just get out and build.

Great video Todd!
You really hit the nail on the head on how it’s a journey to excel or at least reach level of improvements.
Keep on making more sawdust..and…dust off the bottom of the display stand for the chandelier…haha (darn black shows everything)
Keep em’ comin’.

GaryL – ya it gets a bit dusty, I keep it in the storage room. Should have paid a little more attention to cleaning it all up for the video.

But what really bugs me is I had one button undone on my shirt! I was having trouble with my lapel mic, when I took it off I forgot to re-do my button.

Thanks for watching!
