Hey guys!
I have been working hard on my site so I can better “Share the Love~Share the Knowledge” and so I have switched my site to a new platform and am on my 3rd template as I try to see what will fit my needs the best.
I still have a lot of work to do as far as adding project galleries. I will probably continue to change some details like color, but the format is what I am focused on for now. I just wanted to get the right template and basic layout going before I put too much time into the detail.
Every time I switch templates, I have to adjust everything to fit it since each has it’s own default settings. Therefore, I wanted to keep the site minimal while I settled on a template and the format. Otherwise it is too much to continually change.
My goal is for a clean, functional site.
Let me know what you think.
The American Craftsman Workshop website.
Thanks for your help.

Todd,
I am using Google Chrome, XP and there is no margin on the left side. It makes the text a bit odd to read. Also, the load time of pictures was kind of long, I thought it had froze at first.
Content is great, just have people with different setups try it out.
Steve.

Steve – I really appreciate the feedback.
I have the setting to full wide but I can add margins back in. I have played with it both ways. Until I get this kind of feedback I just don’t know any of the issues unless I see it on my site.
Thanks!

I like it – easy to read and professional. The pictures load OK, but a bit slow. Maybe lower the resolution?

Todd, since I was on my Acer tablet I used that to view your site and I no issues in viewing or content which I consider way above average, elegant, and easy on the eyes.

oldnovice – thanks for the feedback on another device I appreciate that.
sras – duly noted will swing back around and see about re-sizing the pics.
Am looking at other color schemes right now to get rid of all the purple.

Topamax – Thanks for checking into it. A quick view is all it really takes.
If it doesn’t function you will know right away. And if the design is hideous, you will know that right away too.
