Hey guys,
I really should be out in the shop right now, I am waaay behind on my project. But I need to let you guys know that everyone is invited to the opening night of a Fine Woodworking Exhibition at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT. I will be there as I am participating in the exhibition with a new version of my prairie chandeliers.
The Opening Schedule:
Here is the opening show schedule:
Friday, Oct 26th: 5pm Artisans’ Reception
Saturday, Oct 27th: 11a.m.-2p.m. Artisan Gallery Talks
7-8p.m. Studio Furniture Lecture by Joseph Godia, Chief of Conservation, Frick Museum, NYC
Please RSVP
To enjoy the opening show and lecture Please call 406-586-8894 to RSVP.
There will be some amazing furniture makers at the show. If you can’t make the opening reception and lecture, the show runs through the end of January 2013 so there is plenty of time to see the exhibit.
Other LJ Members in the show!
There will be a couple of other LJ members showing; Andy Chidwick and Scott Morrison. I am really excited to be included with such fine talent.
If you can make it, be sure to RSVP for the opening ceremonies and meet the artists.
I have to go I have a ton of work to get done for the show.
Your friend in the shop-

Good luck and blow them away Todd. Be yourself and you will do just fine.
I am sorry but a bit to far south to make it.

Darn, I thought that invite was for your workshop and I was wondering where you were going to put all of us
freeloaders, but I am glad to see that you have enough sense not to invite us all to your house. I will not be
able to make the grand opening, but will try to get down there later. They did not state who built the table
on the advertisement? You seem to work well under stress, glad I no longer have to, so you should be able
to get there with your completed projects a few seconds before the deadline. Reminds me of two motorcycle
racing brothers pulling into a race a few minutes before it started, one driving the pickup, the other putting the
last bolts in the engine in the back of the pickup, cannot remember if they won, but they had fun.

Bluepine38 – I am surprised they did not list the credit right on the card.
The show runs until the end of January so there will be a good 3 months to catch the exhibit. I will try to get some photos and blog it later.
I just booked my room for Fri evening since I plan to catch the activities on both Fri & Sat.
