Well guys, I have some disappointing news. I had to pull out of the Western Design Conference.

I am not going to get into details, just suffice it to say that I cannot describe the depth of my disappointment and how discouraged that I am.

I think a lot of the LJ members and I know that you were pullin’ for me.

Darn it. Hopefully there will be another opportunity.

I’m sure what ever the reason it must have been terribly compelling. I know the old saw about when a door closes, God opens a window is precious little compensation in the midst of a deep disappointment. But it generally rings true after some time has past.
We will always root for you, Todd. You are in my estimation one of the yet-to-be fully recognized woodworking stars of this new century. The things you have shared from the Cooper House project bear that out. Keep your chin up. I believe time is on your side. I know we all are.

Must be frustrating. I know you were looking forward to it. I agree with Douglas…..keep your chin up. The time will come.

oh dear :(
I hope the bump in the road doesn’t keep you down long but rather propels you forward, farther and higher

Hopefully next year both of us can make it!
