Thanks Todd – I’m looking forward to your opinion of these DVD’s

-- I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

I curious too, Todd. I have the dvd from Highland Woodworking, the one by Charles Brock and while it is okay, I think it left some questions unanswered. I have seen previews of others that appeared more complete. Thus, I will be waiting for your review.

I curious too, Todd. I have the dvd from Highland Woodworking, the one by Charles Brock and while it is okay, I think it left some questions unanswered. I have seen previews of others that appeared more complete. One in particular is at this site: http://www.rockingchairs.net/Video.html by Hal Taylor, Gil Grosvenor and Harley Bragg. I haven’t seen the full video, only the preview but I was impressed.
I will be waiting your review.
Thanks

gbear – those video clips won’t load on Safari or FireFox.

Are they working for you or anybody else that reads this?

Todd…I just went to the site using the link above. It may be that you didn’t wait long enough. They have about 14 videos which they load on the one page and then you can view them one at a time. You have a lot more computer experience than me but my assessment is this…the videos are not being downloaded so you don’t need a particular program to view them, you are just viewing them on their site. Does that make any sense?

gbear – I know what you mean by the videos being embedded as opposed to having a site player.

They still never load on Safari, which is not a big surprise, some things just don’t seem to be Safari friendly.

With Firefox I only get a few white backgrounds and no videos after several minutes. I guess it ain’t gonna happen for me.
