This modern sofa table was built for donation to a charity fundraising auction.

This slideshow was played to generate more interest in the table by highlighting the construction process. Generating more interest generates more money for the charity.

The auction was a bit disappointing overall, but my table brought in the more money than anything else. Funds raised at the auction help support programs for people with developmental disabilities.

The winning bidder asked for a copy of the video.

The song is Green Onions by Booker T & the MG’s. (I think this song is so cool:)

Nice looking table, too bad the auction did not do better.

Todd this is another nice build and it is satisfying, I am sure, to be able to help out with a donation like this.

Excellent work as always and for a worthy cause as well. I assume your wife does the picture-taking for you? Otherwise, you’ve got a lot of work to setup those shots!

Great slide-show, beautiful table…I love the way you use the dyes to develop the striking colors, but the grain still shows through (at least on the red). I am such a natural finish guy..I wont even use stain…but you definatley have that technique down! Nice work as always..

Beautiful work Todd. On a personal note, I remember when that music came out, doesn’t say anything about me other than I am old.

Jphn – Didn’t mean to date anybody, I just love the timeless appeal that the song has. I guess that makes you “Timeless.”

Greg Wurst – I just leave the camera on the tripod in my shop all of the time. I set it to take a series of photos and I go back to work. I end up deleting a lot of photos.
