It’s Been Launched!

I just got my website up and running- http://amcraftsman.com.

I still have to get a “Contact Us” page posted, and maybe tweek it a little. I will do that in the next day or two.

I have been working my butt off here in Ohio. The work days are long, then I have to go home and figure out my computer and how to build a website.

God Bless Apple Computers! I love my Mac and the potential that I have with it. You guys have to understand that I have no real reference for using computers, this is my first one. I am really clawing my way up the learning curve and the knowledge is starting to compound. Soon I shall RULE THE WORLD!

Anyway-

My website is a portfolio for potential clients. You will notice that I post more on LJ than I do in the website. I don’t think the clients that I am trying to attract want to buy or will be impressed by Shaker style benches.

I can’t believe how easy it is to maintain and for now and that is what I need. I may outgrow the limitations of the .Mac web hosting but I think that will be a while.

I can’t hang out long, I have other work to do and I will try to get back to you guys in the next couple of days. I just haven’t had the time to hang. My social life consists of me getting help for my computer skills. I think that I am emerging from the techno fog now.

Miss you guys-

Hey Todd, congrats on the new web site…I’ll be checking it out. I wanted to thank you for the info on the entertainment center, it was very helpful. I did get a Festool Domino and I have been pleased with the ease as well as the results. I wish I could reciprocate and help you with the web site but that is totally out of my realm! Good luck and don’t work too hard.

Where is your owner? Who keeps letting you into just run around in here?

Why am I even talking to you? You’re just a dog!

Gbear-

Great to hear about the success and the Domino. I am glad I could help. Did you post anything on it yet?

Hi Todd,
I just breezed through your website. I think it looks great. I like the black background. It makes the images stand out. You have some beautiful, & outstanding designs.

Amazing work, Todd! Just great. But then again, I’m just a potato.

Thanks Dorje. I just checked out your project and it looks like you do some real clean work.

I used the black background because I saw Dave Pruett’s site and I thought it was slick. Robert Erickson uses a black background too and I think between the two sites I knew exactly what I wanted to use.

Mot,

You know something because you have the http: on the front of your address and the link works. I just learned something from you. I just had it as www. and I noticed that it wasn’t working.

Glad to see you back Todd. The website looks great. You made the right decision going with the Mac. It does a much better job of making it easy for new users…..old users too for that matter. I think my next computer purchase will be a Mac. My brother (a PC uber power user) recently bought a macbook and says he will never buy a Windows PC again and here is why… http://www.ponohouse.com/ponoblog/?p=190
