I am currently visiting the Seattle area for the next few days. I am staying in Maple Valley to be specific.

I have some business contacts to make and they are my priority.

We will have to make this up as we go along since it is a bit of a spontaneous announcement, but I would like to try and meet some LJ members if possible.

We moved from Seattle last year, to SE Indiana, wish I was back there!! If you get time one place to stop and see would be the school I attended at Seattle Central Community College. Their web site is www.woodconstruction.org it would be time well spent.
Mike Langer?? my mind just went blank, I’ll send him a message & tell him to check LJ’s site.
Have fun while in Seattle, need any info on the area let me know & I’ll try to help you out.

Todd,

I’d like to meet up if possible. Let me know what you had in mind. Maple Valley is about 1 or so south of me (with no traffic). I’m in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. Send me a PM and let me know if anyone else wants to get together.

Hi Todd, I’m just a few miles down the road in Auburn. Be here over the weekend?

Hey Todd I am in Redmond, north of you. If you want to get together that’d be great. I have some work for you to do :)

I do not suppose you consider the San Francisco Bay area as in the Seattle area. Perhaps I could temp you to go out of you way if I reveal that I am cooking (2) smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. yum! yum!

Just met Todd Monday night at Topamax’s home. What a great & down to earth guy for such an amazing artist! He drove all the way from Maple Valley & in the pouring rain to meet us. You can bet he knows about anything you could ask about the craft & is willing to share his knowledge eagerly. I know that all here admire his work but to meet Todd in person is a humbling experience in itself! I can only hope that all here in Washington would be able to meet with him and give him our warmest welcome! Thanks Topamax for inviting Todd & I to your home and for your hospitality, as always Yer a lot of fun to hang out with!
