Throwin’ My Hat in the Ring…

Hey everybody, I just entered the DIY Network Studfinder contest.

I hope that everyone will check out my video, give me a vote and post a comment. I will need all that I can get!

I have seen some of the personalities that submitted and I was motivated to throw my hat in the ring on this one. It can’t hurt!

Just think – I could be saying “Share the Love~Share the Knowledge” on the DIY Network!

The video is bare-bones because the rules state that no music or graphics were to be used – yes I know others did but I tend to read the directions and follow them;)

The video resolution is horrible after getting converted to fit their format. I am not sure how others got such great resolution.

To vote: find the stars at the lower right corner of the video screen and click on “Rate This”
The red arrow points this out in the screen shot.

I hadn’t thought that far ahead. I take it you’re calling “shotgun.”

Sounds good to me!

DOH! You caught me dinkin’ around on the computer.

I posted this and I haven’t been able to pull myself away.

I haven’t had lunch yet though and it is 3:30 in the afternoon. I start losing focus when I do that.

I did rate 3 stars and posted the comment.
If you can still edit your entry there, the link for this page didn’t link to the same place.

maybe it’s not a big deal, but wouldn’t hart to fix it….

Very well done and I wish you all the luck in the world. However, I think you could have added a couple of poses, like you did for the LJ Calendar a while back. You know, a little something for the ladies. ;-)

Junji – Your comment was a tremendous compliment and I thank you very much. It made me realize how important it is to be articulate, especially for others that may have more difficulty understanding English or possibly have difficulty hearing. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Russel – Hmm. Could that have shot me to the top?

Junji – It was my intention to link anybody going from the DIY Network to the blog that had both videos posted in the same place. That was where it took you, right?

Todd,
For the fist link
http://lumberjocks.com/toddc
it goes to the right page,

and the next one,
http://lumberjocks.com/toddc/blog/9924
it leads to the same link above (http://lumberjocks.com/toddc), not to the blog.

Well, Todd, the major demographic of DIY is female, so you never know what’s gonna get their attention.
