My name is Rogers. I live in Southern Louisiana. I have a small manual sawmill which I use to cut up mostly cedar and cypress to make rustic furniture. I use the cedar and cypress to make rocking chairs, benches, cajun microwaves, outdoor ice chest, and swings. I like the rustic look with the natural edges of the boards showing.

Welcome aboard Tiny!
Those came out nice!
I think a rocker like that is on my project list.
That cedar is really striking in color.
Did you get a lot of lumber after Katrina came through?
