Hear are a few pics of my shop as it sits this winter. I lost my heat (gas line) to it last year and still working out how I want to supply the heat. It’s basically two bays of our four bay 140 year old carriage house. One I use for the power equipment the other is the bench room. The bench I built myself at a class at MASW given by chair maker & teacher John Nyquest. As you can see it’s quit a mess right now. Some of my tools are in the basement until the weather breaks, it’s not much but there it is.

From the first pic, it looks like you might have some insulation there… Perhaps a portable propane or kerosene heater would work for you? We use a Mr. Heater Big Buddy at the deer camp. I have a Portable Buddy (the smaller one) that I use in my garage workshop in winter, but I am in Texas and probably don’t need as much heat as you do…)

This is a pretty nice shop space that you have. It looks like you have organized it well and have enough room to work in there. That is a nice workbench that you added to your shop. Any of us would enjoy having a tool like this in our shop.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.
