My wife and I are on our 2nd mid-century modern home and are slowly working our way through the house, redoing drywall, carpet, plumbing, electrical, windows - you name it! We're getting there and enjoying the whole process.
With the house, I gained some shop space, and when we couldn't find a bed that we wanted (or wanted to spend THAT much money on) I decided to build it myslef. Turns out, it would have been cheaper to just buy a bed. However, it also turns out that I'm fairly good at buildering things!
My inspiration comes from danish modern / scandanavian styles mainly, but lately has been greatly influenced my very modern, clean lines, and I'm constantly trying to bring a more refined, higher level of craftsmanship to my work.
