Hello all.
I am in need. A need to fill the void. The void is an empty spot. The empty spot in an area of the shop I haven’t seen in years. There actually is a floor under all that “junk” as the bride would say. (I say golden treasures.)
But, what I need now is spiritual help and a set of free plans for a drift boat or dory. I know I can build one, just need the plans. Have looked and downloaded several but cant find ones concerning a Montana style. Those guys craft some spectacular pieces of furniture which float. I also want to construct mine out of materials on hand such as walnut, cherry and maple. The norm is plywood-which I dont have any of. (sounds strange). Anyhow, any of you boys -or lass’s out there with a KIND word of advice, I would appreciate it. Any one with plans (possibly do some bartering) please advise. So little time on my hands since I have to work-but will make a little extra effort for this winter type project.

Have you tried this guy’s site, I’m building his 15’ fishing punt right now. i know you don’t have any plywood but you might take some inspiration from his designs.
