I think I've always been a woodworker. As a child I had a fascination of different woods. What really got me going strong was after I was married. My wife wanted a small box made.
I thought {probably my problem all along}, that I would cut down the tree, dry the wood, mill it, then make the box. Well since then, I have only made things from solid lumber. A fantasy come true.
I have access to trees, a portable lumber mill, and I dry my own. As the saying goes-"It's all on who you know".
I am a intermediate skilled novice furniture maker, modeler and all around tinker. My wife says I collect hobbies, NOT have hobbies.
I'm an Official putzer of all sorts. I turn large Limestone stone columns and balusters on the side {something different} and part-time mental wizard (probably from my real job). I also love good humor and wit.

Hello All. Ive tinkered long enough. Time I joined in to say Hi instead of being the closet woodworker. You all do some fantastic work.
