I have been reading a lot about Greene & Greene lately, gotten a couple of green and green books witch displays the extraordinary style the two Brothers had. Currently I’m Reading Greene & Greene Creating a Style and I must say is is very interesting . I’m very green in woodworking and does not even barley fall in the amateur category. I follow the TheWoodWhisperer.com and saw he has a very nice Greene and Greene project he is busy with a Adirondack Chair. I also seen numerous other site that have information on Greene & Greene.

To me woodworking is an art that requires skill-set with Certain tools. I trying to learn as much as I can to become a somewhat good woodworker. Time is the real enemy in this whole process, 3 Little-ones running a round the house and a full-time Job take 98% all the time I spend awake. So 2% of all my time is spend on woodworking. As time progress and the kids and myself get older I hope to allocate some more time to this Hobby as it stands know. I hope to get my son or daughters interested in woodworking so they can learn and play with the Dad.

Woodworking is a lovely hobby that give you the opportunity to create something beautiful from what God has given us, all iI can hope for is to create something that does the wood Justus.

man!!! -woodworking can b e just something you love and feel with your heart…”Woodworking is a lovely hobby that give you the opportunity to create something beautiful from what God has given us, all iI can hope for is to create something that does the wood Justus” ...sounds like you do! -I admire you for studying the technical; it is something for which i wish i had more time, patience, and aptitude, but if you love the wood, and it sounds like you do, you will create beautiful art no matter what, because wood is just beautiful, and all you have to do is show it off!
-now, get a chainsaw, or axe, or whatever you have on hand…and just pick up the coolest looking piece you can find anywhere you can find it…someone’s yard, the woods, a trash pile, the dump, a ditch…and find what is in it! -yeah, kids make it hard…you always feel like you are ignoring them if you are woodworking…so, make something for them, then they will see the beauty in what you do!
