Hey guys. Can’t believe this is my first blog post here. I think Im getting lazy. :)

Anyway, I was lucky enough to have my poker chip tray article published in this month’s Woodcraft Magazine. I posted the details on The Wood Whisperer Home Page.

Woodcraft Magazine was nice enough to let me post a .pdf of the actual article!! So please feel free to head on over to the site and download it.

Even if you don’t play poker, I am sure you know someone who does. These little guys make incredible gifts! And its a great way to utilize scraps.

Thanks guys!!

Marc

Marc: The same magazine has my Baby Cradle / Glider on page 41.

awesome!!! Congrats Karson. I took notice of that piece last night. Holy moly!! It looks like a cradle for a medieval prince (or princess). Really beautiful work though!

I thought I’d seen those poker chip trays before. It was on your web site I believe.

Let’s see… full time woodworking job, running a fantastic website with podcasts almost every week, answering woodworking questions in the Question of the Week, living the married life (i.e. at least a good 80% of your free time is sacrificed to relationship upkeep)...

Yeah, Marc, you’re lazy…

Congratulations Marc.
Now I think Martin has another job. He’ll have to start a new category. ”The Lumberjocks Hall of Fame.” (or Board of Fame)

All of the above, Marc.

Thanks for promoting quality woodwork. It was one of your early comments about LumberJocks that first brought me to this site – I liked it so much that I decided to join and do a few posts. LOL

It seems we got quite a few lumberjocks through you Marc. (and I found you through here!). Congrats on being published…. I like the Board of Fame idea. (and a two fer in one zine! congrats Karson!).

I’ve done a little work in T.V. (while in college) and if the work that goes into your podcast can equate to a weekly public access show, I wouldn’t call you lazy by a long shot. – Though I’m sure the busiest among us feel lazy when we finally get a couple minutes to ourselves (and don’t actually do anything).

Woodcraft Magazine is starting to show me something. Maybe I should finally subscribe. I read recently that a year was less than $10 bucks. Now, if I can only find the email they sent me.

Congrats Marc,
Mark
