Im a bad Lumberjock. I dont post very often and when I do it’s usually some kind of announcement. Good thing Im friends with the guy who runs it. :)

Well the Vegas wood show is nearly upon us! It should be a very interesting experience as I will be slaving away at the Festool booth.

But since Im there the whole time, I figured it might be neat to set up a live webcam. My wife wil be attending with me and although she is charged with walking around and getting good footage for The Wood Whisperer, we may also have her walk around with the webcam.

So you wish you could be there but you cant? Maybe we’ll be able to give you a live inside look! Now the reason I say “maybe” is simply because there are many variables outside of our control. Namely, the reception of our mobile internet connection.

Our hope is to have the camera going all four days and it will primarily be pointed at my demo station. And since the goal of the demo station is for the people to see what Im up to, I can only hope we get a reasonable angle for the camera. If not, we’ll get whatever footage we can throughout the day. And if we cant get any due to complications, I apologize ahead of time.

So starting tomorrow, check out The Wood Whisperer Live Webcam (and chat) at

best of luck with the “complications outside of your control” and I hope you have a fun and rewarding time at the show.

You festool whore. You should have enough video to make up a couple of great podcasts.

Have fun. You need to convince Festool to be a Challenge sponsor here. Prizes to include a complete Festool workshop…....entrants need to live in Carver, MA and own a treefarm….:)......and have a soccer playing dog ….just to be safe!

Ohhh… a Festool challenge….what an idea. Maybe it will be what projects you made with Festool tools. Mot, get that Domino going!

maybe it’s “bad joinery” that would be wonderful – if only I had a festool domino..
